About

From intern to procurement clerk in five years.

I'm currently a Procurement Clerk at Dandemutande Investments, running requisitions through to fulfilment end to end. Before this, I completed a graduate traineeship at Dandemutande, rotating across the full procurement cycle. Earlier still, I worked a buying role at Hunyani Paper & Packaging, vetting and onboarding suppliers for their Marondera division. It started with a procurement internship, handling international sourcing and RFQs.

Along the way I picked up a second skill set. I step in as Stores Officer whenever the position needs covering, so procurement and warehouse operations don't stall. Between that range and my degrees in strategic management and supply chain, I'm ready to plug into a new team fast.

  • Coordinate procurement activities from purchase requisition through to supplier delivery and order fulfilment.
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers on pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms to achieve value for the business.
  • Prepare purchase orders, evaluate quotations, and maintain accurate procurement documentation in line with company procedures.
  • Monitor supplier performance and follow up on outstanding deliveries to support uninterrupted operations.
